Pisang Peak Climbing - 18 Days

Pisang Peak ClimbingPisang Peak which stands at elevation of 6091m up above from Pisang village in Annapurna Himalaya range. Pisang peak is considered one of the easy climbing peaks among the trekking peaks in Nepal. Trekkers with little experience in climbing can combine the popular classic Annapurna circuit trek with Pisang Peak climbing to have the taste of climbing in Himalayas in Nepal. The western face of the peak is guarded by a hanging glacier and offers a considerable challenging. The trek offers great variety, from sub-tropical plains in the Himalayan foothills, through the Trans-Himalayan, Manang and Mustang region. This interesting climb starts from Besi sahar in the valley of the Marsyangdi River and trail leads through vasty contrasting flora and faunas towards the majestic peak of Mt. Manaslu and Lamjung Himal. The trail from here follows a demanding walk to the Pisang Peak. After the, your main adventure of Pisang Peak the trek leads to Thorung La pass (5416m) through Manang which are the main attraction of whole Annapurna Circuit trek.

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Besi Sahar and trek to Khudi (790m)

Day 02: Trek from Khudi to Bahundanda (1310m)

Day 03: Trek from Bahundada to Chamje (1430m)

Day04: Trek from Chamje to Bagarchhap (2160m)

Day 05: Trek from Bagarchhap to Chame (2670m)

Day 06: Trek from Chame to Upper Pisang (3200m)

Day 07: Rest day at Pisang for acclimatization

Day 08: Trek from Upper Pisang to Pisang Base Camp (4200m)

Day 09: Trek from Pisang Base Camp to Pisang High Camp (5300m)

Day 10: Climb Pisang Peak (6091m) summit and return to Base Camp

Day11: Trek from Pisang Base Camp to Manang (3540m)

Day12: Rest day at Manang (3540m)

Day13: Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4090m)

Day 14: Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4450m)

Day15: Cross Thorong La pass (5416m) and trek to Muktinath (3800m)

Day 16: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (2710m)

Day17: Flight from Jomsom to Pokhara (820m)

Day 18: Drive back from Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Trip Cost Includes

  • Lama Trekking and Expedition has a philosophy with trip inclusions: as much as possible expenses is included so that customers know the total cost of the adventure trip up front

Trip Cost does not include

  • Nepal Visa fee
  • International airfare to and from Kathmandu
  • Excess baggage charges (if you have more than 20 kg luggage, cargo charge is around $1.5 per kg)
  • Extra night accommodation in Kathmandu because of early arrival, late departure, early return from mountain (due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary
  • Altitude chamber (PAC) or oxygen
  • Lunch and evening meals in Kathmandu (and also in the case of early return from mountain than the scheduled itinerary)
  • Travel and rescue insurance
  • Personal expenses (phone calls, laundry, bar bills, battery recharge, extra porters, bottled or boiled water, shower, heater, etc.)
